DCM SHRIRAM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED

We are based on the 6th floor of the Kanchenjunga Building right on Barakhamba Road. Being in the heart of Delhi 110001 means there’s always something happening outside. The building is one of those older high-rises that’s been around for ages. We do international trade work, so there’s a lot of talk about shipping routes and customs. Our office has a lot of old files and desks that have seen better days. The view from the sixth floor is alright, mostly just other buildings and the busy street below. We get to work early to beat the traffic because Connaught Place nearby gets packed. It’s a pretty standard setup with computers and a printer that jams way too often. We don't have a fancy lounge or anything like that. Just some chairs and a table for lunch. Most of the day is spent on the phone or typing away at keyboards. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but the fans help. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, so we know the lift operators and the security guys at the front. It’s a solid place to work even if the elevators are slow sometimes. We just focus on our international contracts and keep the paperwork moving along as best as we can. It’s a busy life here in the center of the city.
