Datamation

Datamation is based out of a Janta Flat in Vivek Vihar, over in Delhi. Specifically, we are in Flat No 105. If you’ve seen these flats, you know they are compact and built for efficiency. We have used every bit of space we have to set up our workstations. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It’s a very local feel here. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long—people talking, scooters going by, and the local vendors. We started here because it was affordable and close to where we lived. Even as we’ve gotten more work, we stayed because this is where we feel comfortable. There is no fancy lobby or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. We use fans mostly and keep the windows open when the Delhi heat isn't too bad. Our work is mostly focused on data and clerical tasks that require a lot of concentration. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just want to do the work we are paid for and keep things moving. It’s a bit messy with papers and cables, but we know where everything is. This is just a small Delhi business trying to do things the right way without any extra glitter or polish. We don't need a lot of space to do a good job for the people who hire us.
