You can find us at B-355-356 in Nehru Vihar, right on Wazirabad Road in Delhi. This part of the city is always moving, and the road outside is almost never quiet. Since we are situated in a spot that sees a lot of traffic heading towards the different sectors, there is always noise. The building itself has been around for some time, and we do our best to keep it in good shape. Inside, it’s a mix of rooms and common areas where people come to stay for a night or two. Check-ins are handled at the front and we try to make sure everything is ready when guests arrive. The hallways are long and have that specific hotel smell of cleaning supplies. Sometimes the water pressure acts up or a light bulb goes out, but we fix those things as they happen. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the floors for the staff. Most people working here live nearby, so they know the Nehru Vihar area like the back of their hands. It’s not a quiet place because of the Wazirabad Road location, but once you’re inside the rooms, it settles down a bit. We spend our days managing the laundry, the kitchen supplies, and the front desk. It is just a regular hotel operation where we show up and do the work that needs doing. No fancy business is happening here, we just keep the doors open and get on with the day.
