Crowne Plaza

Our place, Crowne Plaza, is located at A 56 Raj-Park on S.P. Road here in New Delhi. It's a busy spot, right in the middle of everything in the 110086 area. We have been here for a while, and the staff is mostly local people who know the city like the back of their hand. The building is easy to find if you are coming down S.P. Road from the main junction. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and the tea is hot for whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of work running a place like this, but we have a good routine down after all these years. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just provide a place for people to stay when they are passing through or visiting Delhi for some work. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded when a lot of people arrive at once, but we just handle it one person at a time without getting too stressed. The street outside can get quite loud with all the horns and cars, but inside it’s a bit more relaxed. We have our regulars who come back every time they are in town, which is nice because we get to know their faces. We don't have a lot of corporate talk here. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff like fixing things or making sure breakfast is ready. It's a practical business. We’re just regular people.
