We are Crowne Plaza Birmingham Uk and we sit on the 2nd Floor of I/75 in Lajpat Nagar Part 2. It’s right here in New Delhi 110024. Being on the second floor means we get a view of the street below, which is always packed with shoppers and rickshaws. The climb up the stairs is a workout since the elevator is a bit temperamental. The office isn't very large, but we make it work. There are a couple of computers, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a lot of pens that seem to go missing. Lajpat Nagar is a loud and vibrant place, so there is never a quiet moment. We can hear the vendors calling out their prices all day long. We just stay focused on our work here, handling whatever comes our way. We are just regular people doing a job in a busy part of the city. No one wears a suit unless they really have to, and we mostly just talk like neighbors. It’s a straightforward place with no frills. The windows are a bit dusty from the Delhi air but we see the sun coming through in the afternoons. Sometimes we order tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the weekend. That is just how life goes for us in Lajpat Nagar, upstairs above the crowds. It is a busy life but it is ours.
