Courtyard Marriot Hotel, Chennai

So, this is the office for Courtyard Marriot Hotel, Chennai, but we are actually located up here in New Delhi at Wz-316 in Basai Dara Pur. It’s right near the Kirti Nagar post office, which makes it easy for mail and stuff to get to us. A lot of people get confused because of the name having Chennai in it, but this is where we handle a lot of the back-end things and coordination for this side of the operations. The building is just a normal spot on the street, and we’ve been working out of here for a bit now. It’s not like the actual hotel with the big glass doors; it’s more of a place for us to sit at desks and handle the logistics and the daily grind. We deal with a lot of files and phone calls throughout the day. The area around Basai Dara Pur is always crowded, so getting to work can be a bit of a challenge in the mornings. There’s a tea stall right down the road where we usually go when we need a break from the computers. It’s honest work, even if it’s mostly just making sure the numbers match up and the communication stays clear between the different branches. We don’t do anything too fancy here, just the regular day-to-day tasks that keep a big company moving along through the 110015 area.
