We’re over at Jai Lal Villa, which is house A-364 if you’re looking for the specific gate. Most people just know us as being near Holi Chowk here in Bijwasan. It’s a busy little corner of New Delhi, especially during festivals, but our spot is tucked back enough that it doesn’t get too loud inside. We’ve been running this place for a bit now, just keeping the rooms ready and making sure the grounds look decent for whoever shows up. It isn’t a massive glass building or anything like that, just a solid place to stay when you’re in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic near the chowk gets a bit backed up, but that’s just how things go around here. We spend a lot of our time just handling the day-to-day stuff, checking pipes, talking to guests, and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. If you happen to be driving through 110061, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s nothing fancy, just a local business trying to do things right and keep the guests comfortable. My cousin helps out with the front desk sometimes when it gets busy. We don’t really do much advertising, mostly just people who know the area or need to be near the airport side of Delhi. It’s a simple setup, really. We just focus on keeping the place clean and being there when someone knocks on the door looking for a room. It takes a lot of work to keep up with the repairs.
