If you go to Ramesh Market in New Delhi, you’ll find Country Club (India) Ltd on the 3rd floor of 198/54. It’s right in the middle of all the market chaos, which is a bit funny when you think about us being a leisure and club company. You have to walk up the narrow stairs past all the shops to get to our office. Once you’re finally inside, it’s a bit quieter than the loud street below. We spend our days talking to members on the phone and trying to organize various events and family holidays. It’s a lot of coordination between different locations and making sure the memberships are all updated in the system. The office is pretty basic, just some old desks, chairs, and a lot of colorful brochures scattered around. We aren’t one of those high-end corporate offices with glass walls and fancy carpets. It’s more of a practical, lived-in space where we can get our work done without distraction. Ramesh Market is always crowded with shoppers, so getting to work in the morning can be a real adventure. We see a lot of different people every day. Some walk in with questions about their holiday plans, others just want to renew their accounts or pay their dues. We try to help everyone out as best as we can. It’s a lot of manual data entry and endless phone calls. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. The neighbors know us well.
