Computer Operator

My work is based out of a small room at 509 Saidulajab, right near the Saket area in New Delhi. It is a very busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of noise and activity happening just outside the door. I have been operating a computer from this location for quite some time now, doing mostly typing, data entry, and helping people get their digital documents in order. The office itself is nothing special to look at. It is just a practical space where I can keep my equipment and have enough room for a few stacks of paper. Because it is Delhi, the dust seems to get in everywhere, so I have to wipe down my desk and the screen almost every morning before I start working. I have an old chair that squeaks whenever I move, but it is comfortable enough for sitting all day. People from the neighborhood and students from the nearby areas come in when they need something printed or a form filled out. I don't really have any employees, so I handle everything from answering the door to finishing the typing. It can get quite hot in the summer, so the fan is always blowing the papers around if I don't use weights to keep them down. I like being in this part of town because it feels alive and there is always something going on. It is a simple setup, but it works for me and the people who need my help.
