Our office is tucked away at number 18 in Sukh Vihar, along Parwana Road. It’s a fairly quiet corner of Delhi, at least compared to some of the busier markets nearby. We have been here for a good stretch of time with Clarion Hotels Pvt Ltd. The building itself is pretty standard for this neighborhood. We spend most of our time dealing with the hotel side of things from this desk. It’s not like we’re running a huge corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and focus on the work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work somehow. Usually, there is a pot of tea going and some papers spread out over the table. People call us up or drop by if they happen to be in the 110051 area. We don’t really put on any airs here. It is just a regular business run by regular people who know the local area well. Parwana Road can get busy with local traffic, so we usually hear the honking outside while we’re trying to sort through the daily tasks. It’s a simple life, honestly. We keep track of the bookings and the management stuff without making it more difficult than it needs to be. That is pretty much how we have always done things in this office since we started.
