Chanakya Forte Grand

We have been operating here in Chanakya Puri for quite a few years now. Our building is located right on Chanakya Lane, which is tucked behind the Akbar Bhawan building. It’s a pretty well-known part of the city, but our little corner stays somewhat quiet compared to the main roads. My team and I usually get started very early in the morning before the sun is even fully up. There is always a lot to do, from checking the guest rooms to making sure the lobby looks presentable for whoever walks in. We aren't a massive corporate chain or anything like that. It is just a local business where we try to keep things running smoothly. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or the internet goes down, and we just have to roll up our sleeves and fix it ourselves. We see all sorts of travelers coming through here. Some are in town for government work and others are just visiting family nearby. We don't have a fancy mission statement or big posters on the walls. We just focus on the basic stuff like clean sheets and making sure the water is hot when someone wants a shower. The traffic outside can get a bit loud during the day, but that is just part of living and working in Delhi. We have grown used to the sounds of the city after all this time. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs every day. It is not always easy, but it is what we do.
