Centaur Hotel, Hotel Corporation Of India Ltd

So we are based out of Vasant Enclave, over at number 284. It is a quiet enough part of Vasant Vihar, which is a nice change compared to the noisier parts of New Delhi. Centaur Hotel is part of the Hotel Corporation of India Ltd, but our office here feels more like a regular everyday workplace than a big hotel lobby. We deal with all the behind-the-scenes stuff that people do not usually see when they stay at a hotel. There are a lot of files and a lot of emails to get through every single day. Most of us have been working here for quite a long time, so we really know how things work. It is not always smooth sailing, especially when the phones are ringing off the hook or when there is a big deadline for reports. We just do what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the internet slows down to a crawl, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the street. It is a decent place to work, really. We are right in the middle of the residential neighborhood, so we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the local market every morning. It is a practical setup for us. No one here is trying to be fancy or corporate. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep everything moving forward without making a big fuss about things.
