Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited, Hotels Division

This is the hotels division for Brahmaputra Infrastructure, and we are based in Janakpuri, New Delhi. Our office at C-1A/71-C is usually filled with files related to building projects and hospitality management. It’s a bit of a mix here because we deal with the construction side of things as well as the daily running of hotel spaces. You’ll often see people coming in with hard hats or rolls of architectural plans. The desks are a bit cluttered with invoices and staff schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating between different sites. Janakpuri is a busy area, so there is always the sound of horns and people outside our windows. We have a small team here, and most of us have been in this industry for a long time. We aren't trying to be the most stylish office in Delhi; we just need enough space to work and store our records. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we all just sit around talking until it comes back up. It’s a real job with real problems, like a leaky ceiling or a contractor who shows up late. We handle the behind-the-scenes stuff that makes a hotel actually function. It’s not always glamorous, but it keeps the buildings standing and the rooms ready for whoever needs a place to sleep. We just come in every day and do what needs doing to keep the property running.
