Bee Gee Handicrafts

Bee Gee Handicrafts is out in Kapashera at number 431. If you have ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it is right near the border and it stays very busy with all the warehouses and small factories around. Our space is basically a big room filled with different materials and finished pieces waiting to be moved out. It is not the cleanest place because there is always some wood shavings or fabric scraps on the floor, but that is just how it is when you are making things. We have a small staff of local people who have been with us for years. We do not have a big corporate hierarchy. Everyone just jumps in wherever they are needed. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so it gets quite warm inside during the summer months. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep the mood light while we work. The address is 110037, and we have been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. We do not spend money on fancy decorations for the office. Most of our furniture is just stuff we have gathered over time. It is a practical setup for a practical business. We just keep our heads down and focus on the handicrafts, making sure everything is packed up right before the trucks arrive in the evening. It is a lot of hard work.
