Beats Of Music

You can find Beats Of Music over at 1895-B/18 in the Govind Puri Ext area of Kalkaji. We aren’t a big recording studio or anything like that. It’s just a place where we deal with music stuff. We’ve been in this part of Kalkaji for a while now, and the neighbors know us. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of gear and instruments lying around. Sometimes it gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it is with music. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us working on some equipment or practicing. It’s a bit messy, with wires all over the place and stacks of speakers. We just enjoy what we do and try to make it work from this small spot. Govind Puri is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always noise from the street mixing with whatever we’re playing. We don’t have any grand plans to become a huge company. We’re just happy being a local spot where music is the main thing. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, and other days it’s non-stop work until late at night. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times and the electricity acts up when it rains, but we stay put. It’s our home and our business all in one. We don't pretend to be professionals, we just really love the sound of a good beat.
