Bax Hotel And Resort

We're located over in Okhla Vihar, right on Street Number 6. It's a busy part of Jamia Nagar, always something going on outside our door. The place is run by Imran Beg and the rest of the family helps out when things get hectic. It’s not like those giant, sterile hotels you see in the movies. We have a more modest, practical setup here. People stay with us when they have business at the university or are just visiting relatives in Delhi. The rooms are basic but we keep them clean and ready. We spend a lot of our morning making sure the laundry is done and everything is set for new guests. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with rickshaws and street vendors. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We like it that way because it feels real. We usually eat our meals together in the back room. If someone needs directions to the local market, we just point them down the road or walk with them for a bit. We’ve lived in this part of New Delhi for a long time. There is a lot of history in these narrow streets. We don't use fancy software to manage things, just a big notebook and some blue pens. It works for us. Guests seem to like that we treat them like neighbors rather than just customers. It’s a bit noisy and energetic, but that is just life.
