Balmer Lawrie

Balmer Lawrie has its office on the ground floor of the Scope Complex. We are in Core-08, right on Lodhi Road. This is a pretty well-known government building area. It’s a big complex, so it took us a while to get used to where everything is. The ground floor is convenient because we don’t have to wait for elevators. Our space is quite large and open. It’s filled with rows of desks and filing cabinets. We’ve got a lot of history in this office. You can see it in the old files and the way the furniture looks. We don’t go for modern trends. We just keep things functional. Lodhi Road is always busy with buses and government vehicles. There’s a lot of security around the Scope Complex, so it feels very formal. But inside our office, we’re just a bunch of people doing our jobs. We handle a lot of logistics and administrative tasks. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We have a canteen nearby where most of us go for lunch. It’s a routine we’ve had for years. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and go home. The office can be a bit chilly in the winter, so we all have sweaters at our desks. It’s a very steady, predictable place to work. We just keep the wheels turning.
