B. K. Iron Steel Pvt. Ltd. is located at A-12 in West End, right on Rao Tula Ram Marg. It’s a pretty well-known spot if you spend any time in this part of town. Dealing with iron and steel means things are usually heavy and a bit rough around the edges. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some sturdy desks and a lot of phone calls going back and forth. We spend most of the day talking to suppliers and making sure the steel gets to where it’s supposed to go. Rao Tula Ram Marg can be a real pain with the traffic, especially during rush hour, but we’ve been here long enough to be used to it. The walls have some old calendars and charts on them. We don't really do the whole modern office thing with glass walls or fancy coffee machines. We just drink regular tea and get through the paperwork. Steel is a tough business, and you have to be straight with people, or it doesn't work out. We have our regulars who come by to talk business, and we mostly just sit around and figure out the numbers. It’s not a glamorous life, but iron and steel are always needed for something, so there is always work to be done. We just keep our heads down and keep the business moving. Our location is convenient for some, but the parking is a nightmare. We have some old filing cabinets stuffed with records and don't use much technology.
