ATELIER BRUNETTE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED

Our workplace, Atelier Brunette India, is on the second floor of 9105/2 in Multani Dhanda, Pahar Ganj. This part of Central Delhi is known for being extremely busy and a bit chaotic, but it has a lot of character. We are right in the thick of it. The office itself is more of a studio and storage space than a formal business suite. Since we are on the second floor, we get a bit of a view of the street life below, but we also have to deal with carrying everything up the stairs. We work with various fabrics and designs all day long. There’s usually thread and scraps of cloth scattered around, and the sound of packing tape is pretty constant. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We’re just a small team of people who enjoy working with textiles. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, and the noise from the market never really stops, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just come in, sort through the fabric, handle the orders, and try to keep things moving. Sometimes we get behind on things when a big shipment arrives, but we just put our heads down and get through it. It’s a very practical, hands-on environment. If you want to find us, you just have to navigate the busy lanes of Pahar Ganj and find your way up to our floor.
