Ashok Hotel

We are located over in Krishna Nagar, specifically at House No. F-23/1. It’s Mr. Pushkar Mitroo’s place, and that is where a lot of the coordination happens. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy the streets get with all the shops and people moving around. Our spot is right in the middle of it all. It’s more of a home-turned-office setup than a grand hotel lobby. We handle things for the Ashok Hotel from here, mostly the local stuff that needs a personal touch. My desk is usually covered in notes and there is always a phone ringing somewhere in the back. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have our own way of doing things, usually over a cup of tea while we look at the booking schedules. The walls have a few old calendars and there’s a bit of a draft from the front door, but it’s comfortable enough for us. Mr. Mitroo is often around, making sure the paperwork is moving along as it should. We deal with all kinds of requests, some simple and some a bit more complicated. Living and working in Krishna Nagar means you get used to the constant buzz of the neighborhood. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We don't have any scripted greetings or fancy uniforms. It is just about making sure the guests get what they need and the rooms are ready for whenever they decide to arrive.
