We have been operating Ascot Hotels & Resorts Limited from our spot in Pahar Ganj for quite some time now. Our address is 9253/5, Multani Dhanda, which is a busy little corner of New Delhi. If you know Pahar Ganj, you know how it is—always people moving around, lots of noise, and plenty of activity at all hours. We are right in the thick of it. It’s an old building, and we’ve tried to keep it in decent shape, though the walls could probably use another coat of paint one of these days. We don't have a big, shiny lobby like those places you see in the movies. It’s just a practical space where we handle our business. Most of the people working here have lived in Delhi for years, so we know the area pretty well. We spend a lot of our time answering the phone and dealing with the paperwork that comes with running a place like this. It gets pretty hectic during the peak seasons, and sometimes we feel a bit overwhelmed, but we just take it one day at a time. We don’t go for anything fancy. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and vendors, which makes it feel like the real Delhi. We aren't some massive corporation with a bunch of rules; we just run things the way they’ve always been run around here. It works for us and the people who come to see us.
