As A Hotel Reservation Executive

I’m working out of Sangam Vihar in Delhi, specifically at 2535/15 in the Asphal area. The name on the door is a bit unusual, but it basically describes exactly what I do. I handle hotel reservations for people who need help getting their stays sorted out. Sangam Vihar is a very crowded and busy part of the city, and my office is just a simple room where I can keep my computer and my files. It isn’t a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s just me, Hema Kashyap, making sure that when someone books a room, they actually have a place to sleep when they arrive. Delhi can be a tough place to navigate, and the hotel world is even more confusing sometimes. I don't use a lot of polished language or try to sound like a big company. I just answer the emails and pick up the phone. Sometimes the power goes out or the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but I just keep working through the list. People come to me because I know the systems and I don’t charge them for things they don’t need. It’s an honest way to make a living and it keeps me busy from morning until night. I don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. I just try to get the bookings right every single time so nobody gets stranded during their travels.
