Alpha Test House is located right on the ground floor at Shop No-1 in M-577, Paschim Vihar. We spend most of our time looking at samples and writing down results. It’s a small space, but we have crammed in all the equipment we need to do the testing properly. Dealing with paperwork is a big part of the day here in West Delhi. People bring in things they need checked, and we spend our hours making sure everything is measured correctly. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for the hum of the machines and the noise from the street outside. The shop is easy to find if you know the GU block area. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly when we need our morning break. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We keep a lot of logs and registers on the shelves because everything has to be tracked. Sometimes the place feels a bit cramped with all the files and tools, but we know where everything is. New Delhi summers make the lab a bit warm, even with the fans going full blast. We just try to be thorough and get the reports out on time. It’s just us doing our bit in the neighborhood, making sure the standards are met without making a big fuss about it. We don't do much advertising; people just find us by word of mouth.
