We are based in the Sir Sobha Singh Building, number 5239. It’s near Ajmeri Gate on Pancheshwar Tower Road. That area is always packed with people and carts, so it’s a lively place to work. We deal with hardware, mostly industrial stuff that goes into bigger projects. Our office is in an old building with a lot of character, though the walls are a bit stained from years of use. We have drawers and bins full of nuts, bolts, and various metal parts. It smells like oil and iron in here, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and logistics people. The paperwork piles up on the old wooden desks. It’s not the quietest place because of the street noise, but we’re used to it. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time now. People come to us when they need specific hardware that’s hard to find elsewhere. We don’t have a fancy website or anything; we just do our work and keep track of everything in our books. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the window light. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We stay busy and we keep the hardware moving out to wherever it needs to go. My assistant spends most of his day sorting the smaller bins that get jumbled up when we're in a hurry.
