Accor Hotels

We are based over in Uttam Nagar in New Delhi. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and lively it can be at almost any hour. We handle things for Accor Hotels from this location. It is not one of those huge glass buildings you might see in the city center. It is more of a practical local office where the real work happens behind the scenes. The streets outside are usually packed with rickshaws and people heading to the metro station nearby. We have got a small space where we manage the day-to-day operations. It can get pretty noisy with all the traffic, but we have learned to tune it out over the months. We do not have fancy uniforms or a polished lobby here. It is just us sitting at our desks making sure everything is sorted out for the hotel side of the business. The winters in New Delhi can be quite chilly, so we usually have a small heater going in the corner of the room. In the summer, the fans are always on full blast to keep us moving. We know most of the local shopkeepers nearby and often get our lunch from the small dhabas on the main road. It is a very grounded way to work. We don't spend any time on big speeches or fancy presentations. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home before the evening rush starts.
