Ss Secondary School

This school sits right at 11-5-47 on Trunk Road in the Dargamitta area. Because we are on the Trunk Road, it’s a very visible spot and pretty easy for everyone to find. The traffic goes by constantly, so there is always a bit of a hum from the street. We are a secondary school, so our students are at that age where they are growing up fast. The building itself is a bit older, with long corridors and high ceilings in some parts. We have plenty of classrooms that stay pretty full throughout the day. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups, which is how it usually is in a busy school. We don’t have a massive field, but there’s enough space for the students to stand around and talk during their breaks. The routine is the same every day: the bell rings, the students file in, and the lessons start. We focus on the basics and making sure everyone follows the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows, or it gets dusty from the road outside. We just deal with those things as they come. It’s a straightforward place with a lot of history in the Dargamitta neighborhood. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy gadgets; we just provide a place for local kids to go to school and finish their secondary education without any fuss.
