Idbi Bank

Being tucked away in Room No 25, Wing B of the Boys Hostel at Goa University is a bit unusual for an Idbi Bank office, but that’s where we are. Panjim is a beautiful place, but our little corner is very much about the university life. It’s mostly students and faculty coming through. The air is always a bit humid being in Goa, and you can hear the birds or students chatting outside the window. It’s a small space, not like those big branches in the city center. We keep it organized because there isn't much room to waste. You have to walk through the hostel area to find us, which might feel a bit strange if you aren't used to campus layouts. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when exams are coming up or when the semester starts. We don't have a big lobby or fancy sofas. It is just a practical setup to help the university crowd with their banking needs. Sometimes we have to explain the directions a couple of times because the wings can be confusing. But once you find Wing B, it’s straightforward. We’ve been here for a bit, and it’s a steady routine. We just focus on the paperwork and the people who walk in. It’s a very specific kind of environment here in the hostel branch. It feels like we are part of the school life in a way. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
