We have our office on the ground floor of the Yayati Chs building, which is at Plot No. 9 in Sector 58 A. Being right near Palm Beach Road in Nerul means we get a lot of that sea breeze, but also a lot of traffic noise from the main road. The office is usually full of rolls of tracing paper and stacks of old site photos. We’ve been working as architects for a long time, and this spot in Nerul has been our home base for a good chunk of that. It is not a very formal place. You will see us in jeans most days, hunched over our computers or arguing about a staircase design. Architecture involves a lot of waiting around for approvals, which can be pretty frustrating, but we use that time to tweak our drawings. We deal with everything from small house renovations to larger building projects. Every project has its own set of headaches, like unexpected soil conditions or a budget that suddenly shrinks, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't the kind of firm that has a big glass front and a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a desk and say hello. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We just like building things and seeing them actually get finished at the end of the day.
