Alpha Architects

Alpha Architects operates out of Plot No 56, specifically in Flat No 601, located in Nerul. We are right near the Presentation Convent School, which is the main way we tell people how to find us if they get lost. Being on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a different perspective on the neighborhood. We can see a lot of what’s happening in Nerul from up here. The office is really just a flat that we have converted into a workspace. It’s not a polished studio with fancy drafting tables and high-end decor. We have our computers and our plans spread out over whatever flat surfaces we can find. It feels more like a home office than a corporate environment, which suits us just fine. Sometimes the lift in the building takes a while to arrive, so we’ve learned to be patient. There are usually a few of us here, working through different projects and talking over designs. The proximity to the school means we hear the bell and the sounds of students during certain times of the day. It keeps the atmosphere from feeling too isolated. Nerul is a busy place, but being up in Flat No 601 at Plot No 56 provides a bit of a buffer from the street level noise. We don’t worry much about having a grand entrance or a receptionist. We just answer the door ourselves and get back to the work at hand. It’s a simple, functional way to run things.
