Freelancer

We are based out of Navi Mumbai, which is a pretty large area if you think about it. Since we don't have a specific street address listed, we just tell people we are in this part of the world. Operating as Freelancer from here is actually quite nice because it’s much more planned and quiet than the main city across the harbor. We spend most of our time in a small office space that we’ve set up with just the basics. There’s a desk, some chairs, and a very reliable internet connection, which is really all we need to get through the day. The weather here can get quite sticky, especially in the months before the monsoon hits, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. We usually start our mornings early before the sun gets too high and stay until the evening rush starts on the Palm Beach Road or the highway. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls and a view, just a simple room where we can focus. Sometimes we head out to one of the local malls or small cafes for a break, but mostly we are right here. Navi Mumbai has its own feel, a bit slower than Mumbai but still busy in its own way. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now and we don't really see ourselves moving. It’s a practical place to be for the daily work.
