Ramdev Traders

Our place, Ramdev Traders, is right on the Pimpalgaon stretch of the Nashik Mumbai Agra Highway. Being near Sambhaji Chowk and Untwadi Road means there is never a quiet moment. The sound of trucks and cars going by is something you just stop hearing after a while. We set up here because it’s a convenient spot for people travelling through or living nearby in the Nashik area. The building is simple and we keep everything organized the best we can, though on busy days things can get a bit messy. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure we have what people are looking for. It gets quite dusty being so close to the highway, so we are always cleaning off the shelves. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings popping up and more traffic than there used to be. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a long time. They stop by for a chat even if they don't need to buy anything right then. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business inside out. It’s a steady way to make a living. We keep the doors open through the day and usually close up once the sun starts going down and the highway lights come on. Even in the rain, there is always plenty of activity on the road.
