Our place is at 14, Vrundavan Bungalow in Shiv Colony, out on Pathardi Road. It’s a bit different because we are located in a residential style building rather than a traditional shop front. It makes the atmosphere at Vedanti Enterprises feel a bit more relaxed than the usual business. We use the lower part of the bungalow for our operations. Pathardi Road has grown a lot lately, so there’s much more traffic than there used to be, but Shiv Colony itself stays relatively quiet. We have a small desk near the window where we handle most of the calls and the paperwork. The garden outside isn't perfectly kept, but it provides a bit of green to look at while we work. We don't have any big corporate signs, just a small one so people know they’ve reached the right house. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We take our tea breaks together and talk about things other than work. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog comes over to say hello, which we don't mind. We prefer this setup over a cold industrial unit. It feels more personal and honest. We’ve been here for a good few years now and the local people know us. We just take each day as it comes and try to do a decent job for whoever walks through the gate.
