Hindustan Cement Pipes & Concrete Works

We have been operating Hindustan Cement Pipes & Concrete Works from Plot No. A-10 in the M.I.D.C. area of Satpur for a long time. It’s an industrial zone so there’s always noise and trucks moving around. Our place is part of the N.I.C.E. layout. We mostly make concrete pipes and other heavy things people use for drainage and roads. It is hard work and the sun gets quite hot out on the yard. We have a bunch of guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly how the molds work and how to mix everything right. We don't really do much advertising or anything. People in the trade know we are here at A-10. The yard is usually full of finished pipes waiting to be picked up by trucks. Sometimes the ground gets muddy when it rains, which makes moving the heavy concrete a bit of a chore. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the pipes are solid. There’s no secret to it, just keeping the machines running and the supplies coming in. We buy our raw materials from local suppliers when we can. Satpur is a busy place and being in the M.I.D.C. means we are close to other factories. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We open early and stay until the last delivery is loaded up for the day.
