Out here in Village Manegoan, things move at their own speed. Our place is in the Manegoan post area, which is part of Sinnar Taluka. We spend our days working with cement to make items for the farms and houses around here. It could be water tanks or poles for fences, just the usual stuff that farmers need to keep their land going. We started this because we saw a lot of people struggling to find good concrete work nearby. My brother and I run the place with a couple of helpers from the village. It’s dusty work and we usually go home covered in grey powder, but it’s honest. We don’t use any fancy sales talk. People just show up, look at what we’ve poured recently, and let us know what they want. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit tricky because the village roads can be narrow, but we manage. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where the Manegoan cement yard is. We don't have a big office, just a small desk in the corner of the shed where we keep our notebooks and a few pens. It’s a quiet life, mostly just the sound of the mixer and the birds in the fields nearby. We just keep making what's needed for the community and hope it serves them well for years.
