Mech World Eco

Our place, Mech World Eco, is located on Malay Nashik Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and we see a lot of trucks passing by all day. Mechanical work is the main focus here, especially things that are a bit more environmentally minded when possible. The shop isn't huge but it fits everything we need. Most of the tools are hanging on the walls and there’s always something being dismantled on the main bench. We start around eight usually. Air out here can get a bit dusty from the road, so we're always wiping things down and covering the sensitive parts. It’s a practical setup for the crew. No one wears a suit here. Mostly, we are in grease-stained clothes by noon. People stop by because they know the location. It’s easy to find. Phones stay busy with us calling parts suppliers, trying to track down things that are hard to get. Nashik Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. Rain sometimes makes things difficult when we're moving equipment in the yard, but we manage. A big marketing budget or a fancy website isn't something we have. Machines leave the shop once we finish the repairs or the assembly. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. After the sun sets behind the hills, we start packing up the tools and locking the gate. The long day feels alright. Noise is kept down for the neighbors but the compressors have to run until we finish.
