Tungabhadra Vegetable Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is at H No.3-192 in Kamavaramkowthalam. It’s a small house that we use for the company business. Being near the Tungabhadra area means we see a lot of different crops coming through. The weather is usually hot, and the roads are dusty. We spend our days meeting with the local farmers who bring in their vegetables. The room we work in is small and packed with papers and old calendars. We have a few ceiling fans that struggle to keep the heat away. There’s always a tractor or a cart parked outside. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone sitting on a bench outside or leaning against the doorframe. We talk a lot about the rain and the soil. That's the main thing people care about here. The vegetables need to be handled carefully, but the crates are heavy and rough. Our hands are usually stained from the produce. We drink tea from the stall down the road and keep working until the sun goes down. It's a plain way of living, but it keeps us busy. The address is easy to find if you know the Kamavaram area. We’ve been here since the start, and the building has a few cracks in the plaster, but it serves its purpose for our farming group. We just focus on the daily tasks and the crops.
