Thaduru Farmers Producer Company Limited

In the small place called Thaduru, over in the Dhone area of Kurnool, you’ll find our office. The house number is 5-17. We are the Thaduru Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s not a big corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s more like a central meeting point for the farmers in our village. We have some plastic chairs and a big wooden desk where we keep all our documents. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are more worried about the crops than the decor. Being in Kurnool, we deal with a lot of dry weather and rocky soil. We spend our mornings talking about the rains—or the lack of them—and how we can help each other out. Our name is on a small board outside the door, but most people just know to come here if they need to talk about the harvest. We don't use any complicated business strategies. We just talk, decide what needs to be done, and try to get it done. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized when too many people show up at once, but we manage to sort it out. We aren't looking to impress anyone with big words or fancy offices. We are just people from Thaduru trying to make a living from the land. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the village, but we stay at it day after day because it’s our home. We just do what we can with what we have.
