Tapi Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Tapi Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located at Plot Number 41 in Govind Nagar, Shahada. We are right there at Survey Number 565/66/67. It’s a busy little spot where we bring together the local farmers to manage our produce better. Being a producer company means we are all in this together, trying to get a fair shake for what we grow. The office in Govind Nagar isn’t anything special to look at, just some chairs and a table where we sit and discuss the prices and the harvest. Shahada is a place where everyone knows everyone, so news travels fast. If the rains are late, we all talk about it here. If a new crop is doing well, this is where we share the info. We don't have a marketing department or a big boss in a city far away. It is just the local growers making decisions for themselves. We started this because doing it alone was getting too hard. Now, we pool our resources and try to handle the selling and the buying as a single unit. It’s a lot of talking and sometimes a lot of arguing, but that’s what happens when you have a lot of farmers in one room. We just want to keep the farms going and make sure our families are okay. It takes a lot of effort to keep everyone on the same page but we do it.
