Our company, Dnyanai Agrotech And Innovation Export Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based in Bhone. We are located at Plot No-418 in the Nandurbar district. It’s a farmer producer company, which means it’s really about the people who grow the food. We started this because we wanted a way for the local farmers here in the taluka to get their products out to more places, maybe even export them if everything goes right. The office is right there in the village, so it’s easy for anyone to walk in. It’s a simple brick building, nothing flashy. We spend a lot of time discussing seed quality and how to get better yields without spending a fortune. There are a lot of meetings where we all sit around and try to figure out the best way to move our produce. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with pens and paper. We’re all learning as we go, trying to figure out the export rules and the paperwork. It’s a lot of work for a small group in Nandurbar, but everyone puts in their bit. We aren't looking to become famous, just want to make sure the families here can keep their farms going. It’s quiet out here most of the time, just the way we like it. We focus on the soil and the crops and nothing else.
