You can find us at House Number 220 in Harankhuri village, which is way up in the Dhadgaon taluka of Nandurbar. It’s a quiet place, mostly hills and forest around us. We called ourselves Ekta because unity is really the only way we get anything done in these parts. Being so far out, we have to look after ourselves. We spend a lot of time trying to see which crops grow better in our soil since the weather can be a bit unpredictable here. It isn't some high-tech lab or anything, just us farmers sitting around and comparing what worked on one plot versus another. We try to figure out how to develop our land without spending too much money. Most of us here have been farming since we were kids, so we know the ground pretty well. We registered as a producer company to make it easier to buy supplies and maybe get a better deal when it’s time to sell. It’s a long road down to the bigger markets from Harankhuri, so we have to plan ahead. Sometimes the roads are bad, but we keep going. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just our hands and some basic tools. It’s a simple life, but we take pride in what we grow. We’re just local people from Nandurbar trying to keep our traditions alive while learning a few new tricks.
