Svs Fly Ash Brick is situated at 4/14, Sathanur Post, in the Kallankattuvalasu area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we like the space we have for the brickyard. We are basically a local setup where we produce flyash bricks for all sorts of construction projects nearby. The daily routine is pretty much the same: we get the flyash delivered, mix it up, and get the bricks set out to dry. Being near the post office in Sathanur makes it easier for people to give directions to our place. We don't have a big office or anything polished; we just have a small shed where we keep the records and take our tea breaks. The workers are all from around here, and we’ve been working together for a while now. Some days are slower than others, especially when the power goes out or a machine needs a part replaced. We don't spend money on advertising because the word of mouth in Kallankattuvalasu is usually enough to keep us busy. It’s physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the day, but it feels good to see the stacks grow. We just try to keep the yard organized and make sure we have enough stock for whoever shows up. It’s an honest way to work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than what it is.
