We are located at 67, Goundampalayam in the Kumaramangalam area of Tiruchengode. Subhashri Bioenergies Pvt. Ltd. is not in a big city office tower. Instead, we are out where there is a bit more space. The surroundings are much quieter than Mumbai or Chennai. We work on bioenergy projects, so a lot of our time is spent thinking about nature and how to use it better. The office is pretty simple, with white walls and some wooden tables. We have some boots by the door because sometimes we have to go out and look at things on the ground. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits and ties. Most of us are in casual clothes that are comfortable for a long day. The sun gets really hot in Tiruchengode, so we keep the fans going all day long. We do not have a lot of neighbors, which is nice if you like the peace. Sometimes a dog from the village wanders by and we give it some water. Our work is practical and we focus on the technical details rather than how things look. It is a small community here and we all know the local families. We just do our bit to keep the bioenergy stuff moving forward without making a big fuss about it. It is a calm way to work compared to the city.
