Out here in Samiyampalayam, things move at a bit of a different pace. Sapthagiri Agro Food Products is our small business in B.Komarapalayam. We deal with agricultural stuff, mostly food products that come from the local area. It’s a lot of work involving the crops and making sure everything is handled right after the harvest. We aren’t some big city firm; we’re right here where the stuff grows. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we can get the work done. We spend a lot of time talking to local farmers and checking the quality of what’s coming in. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but that’s just part of working with agro products. We’ve been here long enough that people know who we are. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us making sure the food products are ready for the market. It can be dusty and loud sometimes when the machines are running, but it’s honest work. We take pride in just getting the job done without any fuss. It's a steady life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
