You can find Aishwarya Feeds at 39-C on the 1st Floor over on Dr. Sankaran Road. Being on the first floor means we have to carry a lot of stuff up and down the stairs, which keeps us moving all day. The road outside is always busy with traffic, so there is a lot of noise coming through the open windows. We handle different kinds of feed for animals and livestock. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and people who need feed for their cattle or poultry. The office is a bit cramped with all the samples and files, but we manage somehow. We’ve got a small team here and everyone knows their job. We don’t have a big corporate manual or anything like that to follow. We just talk to each other and get the work finished. Dr. Sankaran Road is a central spot, so it’s easy for visitors to drop in when they need something. We usually have the fans going full blast during the afternoon heat. It gets a bit dusty with all the bags, but that’s part of the feed business. We like the neighborhood even if it’s a bit crowded and loud. Every morning we open up the shutters and start again. There’s always someone coming in with a question or a delivery note. We just take it one step at a time and try to keep everything straight. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for everyone.
