Sekkarapatti Pue School

Sekkarapatti Pue School is a small place located in Marapparai, Namakkal. We are a primary school that serves the children from the village and the nearby farms. The building is very simple, with just enough classrooms for the different grades we teach. We don't have much in the way of modern technology, but we have the basics like benches, boards, and books. The children usually walk to school from their homes nearby. It is a quiet area, and the school is often the center of the local community. The teachers are mostly people from this region who understand the local way of life. We start the day early with a short assembly and then get into the lessons. There is a small outdoor space where the kids can play during lunch, but it is mostly just dirt and some trees. Most of the families around here are involved in farming, and they want their children to have a chance at a basic education. We don't have a lot of resources, so we have to be careful with how we use everything. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains heavily and the paths get muddy. But we just keep going. It is a humble setup, and we don't try to pretend it is anything else. We just want the children here to learn how to read and write in a safe environment.
