Kongunadu School

Kongunadu School sits out in Nallipalayam, which is a part of Namakkal that feels a bit more open. We have been here for a good amount of time. It’s not a complicated place. We have the classrooms and the outdoor space where everyone gathers. Being in 637003 means we deal with the local weather and the local traffic like everyone else. The mornings start quite early for us. We have to get everything opened up and ready before the sun gets too high. Namakkal is known for many things, but for us, it is just where we work every day. We don't have any flashy brochures or a big corporate office. Our office is just a room with some chairs and a wooden desk. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily small problems that come up in a school. Maybe a door won't close right or we need more chalk. It's those kinds of things. We just stay focused on the day ahead. The walk to the main road isn't too long. Sometimes we see the trucks passing by in the distance. It is a very normal, practical life we lead here. We don't try to be anything we are not. We are just a school in Nallipalayam doing what needs to be done. It is quiet in the evenings after everyone leaves. Then we just lock up and go home.
