Kalaimagal Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Our school is tucked away on Nadar Street in Belukurichi. It is a quiet enough spot most of the day until the bell rings and the students come pouring out. We have students from all around the local villages. Being a matriculation and higher secondary school means we have kids of all ages, from the little ones starting out to the teenagers getting ready for their final exams. The building has seen many classes come and go over the years. We keep the place clean and the garden is usually green if it has rained lately. We do not go in for anything too flashy. The teachers here are local people who know the families well. Sometimes we have meetings under the big tree in the courtyard because it is cooler there than inside the classrooms. We follow the standard curriculum and try to make sure everyone keeps up with their homework. It is a lot of work running a school of this size, but we manage. You will find us busy with paperwork or organizing the morning assembly most days. We just want the kids to learn their subjects and be decent people when they leave us. Life in Belukurichi moves at its own pace, and we are just a part of that. There is always someone coming by to ask about admissions or just to say hello. We do not have a big marketing team, just us doing our jobs every day on Nadar Street.
