Patharquary L.P. School

You can find Patharquary L.P. School at No 45 on West Bazaar Street in Sendamangalam. This is a small primary school right in the middle of things here in Namakkal - 637409. The street is usually quite busy with all the shops and people walking by. Our building is right there among the other houses and stores. We have been here for a long time, teaching the younger children from the surrounding neighborhood. It is a simple setup with just a few classrooms and a small area for the kids to play during their break time. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we make it work for the numbers we have. The teachers are usually from right around here, so they know the families and the parents quite well. Every morning we open the doors and the kids start trickling in from the side streets. It is a bit noisy because of the bazaar being so close, but the kids don't seem to mind the racket. We just do the basic reading, writing, and arithmetic. There is no big office or anything like that, just a small desk for the head teacher in the corner of one room. It is a humble place, but it serves the community well enough. We keep the place clean as much as possible despite the dust from the street. It is a very familiar part of the bazaar for everyone who lives in this town.
