Ambothu Lak Pathi

My name is Ambothu Lak Pathi and I stay at House Number 3-5 in Devath Palle. This is a small village in the Nampally mandal. I have lived here for quite a while now and I know every corner of this place. Life in the village is about doing the work that is in front of you. Whether it is helping out with local tasks or managing my own affairs, there is always something to keep me busy. The house is a simple one and it’s where everything happens. We don't have big signs or anything to show what we do. People just know to come to the door if they need to talk. The roads in Devath Palle are mostly quiet except for the occasional tractor or motorbike passing by. In the evenings, it gets peaceful and you can hear the birds and the wind in the trees. We are a long way from the big cities and the rush of people. That suits me just fine. We have our own way of doing things here and we don't feel the need to change just because the world outside is moving fast. We just take things one day at a time. If the crops are good, we are happy. If the rain is late, we wait. It is an honest life and I am content being here in this part of Nampally.
