Green Valley Public School

Our school sits right on Sh 78 here in Chandi, so if you are driving through the Nalanda area, you have probably passed by our gates once or twice. It is a plain building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We have a decent amount of space for the kids to run around during their break times, which is probably their favorite part of the whole day. The staff room is usually a bit cluttered with papers and notebooks waiting to be marked by the teachers. We do not have any big fancy signs, just the name of the school painted on the wall. The road outside gets busy with tractors and trucks sometimes, but we are used to the noise by now. Inside, it is mostly just the sound of teachers talking and the occasional scrape of a chair on the floor. We try to keep things organized, but with so many students, there is always a little bit of chaos near the water coolers or the main office area. Life at Green Valley Public School is pretty simple. We follow the yearly calendar, get through the rainy season when the ground gets a bit muddy, and prepare for the heat in the summer. It is just a place where kids from around the area come to spend their day learning. We keep the gates locked during the school hours and unlock them when it is time for everyone to go home. That is about it for us.
